Yes, there are specialty restaurants and coffee shops, but they are not needed to eat like a king or queen!

Traveling with a passport or passport card is ideal. If you do not have that, you do need proof of citizenship (the original or certified copy of your birth certificate) and identification (driver’s license); US citizens under 16 years old do not need a driver’s license, just the proof of citizenship. If you are a citizen of a country outside the U.S., please check with the consulate of your country to determine exactly what is needed to visit the United States and the Bahamas.

Is Internet Available Onboard?

Yes! Royal Caribbean’s VOOM® is one of the fastest internet services available at sea, allowing you to stay connected with family and friends, browse the web, check email, and share your cruise memories throughout your voyage.

Internet packages can be purchased before your cruise through the Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner or Royal Caribbean App, as well as once you’re onboard. Purchasing your package before sailing often provides the best value, and promotional pricing is frequently available.

Guests can choose from a variety of internet options, including single-device and multi-device packages that can be shared with family or friends. If you only need internet access for a short period, 24-hour passes may also be available during your cruise.

Since package options and pricing are subject to change, we recommend checking the Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner or mobile app before your sailing for the latest packages and rates.

And here’s some great news—you can order as much as you’d like! If two appetizers catch your eye, enjoy them both. Can’t decide between entrées? Order both. And there’s always room for dessert!

The automatic service gratuity charged by Royal Caribbean is $18.50 per person, per day for guests in Junior Suites and below, or $20.50 per person, per day for guests in Grand Suites and above, applied daily to each guest’s SeaPass account. The tip applies to individual guests of all ages and stateroom categories. As a way to reward the crew members for their outstanding service, tips are shared between dining, bar, & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel service teams who work behind the scenes to enhance the cruise experience. To avoid the daily fee on your SeaPass account, you are welcome to prepay gratuities prior to sailing. This charge of $92.50 per person for the entire cruise is typically done at the time of final payment.

Absolutely!

Can I Use My Cell Phone During the Cruise?

Absolutely! While a cruise is the perfect opportunity to disconnect and relax, staying connected is easy if you need to keep in touch with family, friends, or work.

At sea, Royal Caribbean offers Cellular at Sea® service, allowing compatible mobile devices to connect through your cellular provider’s international roaming network. Roaming rates vary by carrier and can be significantly higher than standard domestic rates, so we recommend contacting your mobile provider before your cruise to learn about available international travel plans and pricing.

Many cellular providers also offer international travel passes that may provide voice, text, and data service while visiting ports of call. Coverage and pricing vary by carrier and destination, so it’s always best to confirm the details before you travel.

If you purchase a Royal Caribbean VOOM® Internet Package, you’ll be able to stay connected throughout your voyage using the ship’s Wi-Fi. This allows you to browse the internet, check email, and communicate using Wi-Fi-based apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, iMessage, and other messaging services—both onboard and while connected to Wi-Fi at eligible destinations.

For the best experience, we recommend reviewing your cellular provider’s international options and Royal Caribbean’s internet packages before sailing so you can choose the connectivity option that best meets your needs.
